I was very lucky with the weather – it was 3 clear nights in a row, but I was out chasing milkyway only for one night as I was with a group of 6 people, from which only me and one other guy were interested in taking photos of milkyway, so we needed to keep up with the group for the day-time activities as well. We went up to the Drei Zinnen hut (2.5h hike, 900m up) for the sunset and stayed there till after sunrise, without sleeping obviously. I was a bit surprised how many people were staying there for a night – a lot of flash lights wandering around and ruining photos. I should admit I also contributed to that flash light pollution, but I tried to keep it to the minimal. I also should admit I “stole” the idea of this reflection from a stranger photographer who asked me to pose for his photo at the same spot during the sunset.
